The unit is designed for heating, drying and refining of transformer oil from mechanical impurities, water and acids. It is also intended for insulation restoration of current and voltage oil-filled transformers, for solid insulation cleaning of power transformers, for insulation drying of power transformers, transformer oil regeneration with granular synthetic or natural adsorbents, regeneration of granular synthetic or natural adsorbents with vacuum, for regeneration and refining of other types of mineral and synthetic oil.
The vacuum oil filling system is designed for preparation (degassing), storage, transportation and injection of transformer oil into the high-voltage ports of transformers and switches and can be used at power plants, power distribution stations and other energy related facilities.
Ambient conditions for operation:
- ambient temperature + 10 to + 35°С;
- atmospheric pressure 84 to 106,7 kPa (26.77 to 31.49 in.hg);
The UVD-4M system consists of:
- degassing section;
- injection section;
- vacuum pump;
- control panel.
The degassing section is an airtight cylindrical vessel, with airtight oil input opening, two ball valves and vacuum pressure gauge. (-1…0 kg/cm²).
The valve is connected to the vacuum pump via collet fitting, flexible hose and a valve. The valve is equipped with a muffler.
Injection section is a pneumatic cylinder with piston diameter of 160 mm. The section will take oil from the degassing section and inject it into the transformer’s port. The piston is manually driven by a screw pair. Oil distribution assembly is fitted into the lower part of the cylinder, which consists of pipeline, ball valve and vacuum pressure gauge (-1…0…9 kg/cm²).
Vacuum pump (sliding vane rotary pump, mod 50810-235) is designed to create vacuum in the degassing section. The pump is driven by one phase 220 V power supply.
